Place the rug loosely and evenly inside the drum, without compressing it. The rug needs to be able to move inside the drum.
Do not start the wash if the lid closes with difficulty, the rug is completely jammed in the drum, or your machine's stated load capacity is exceeded.
This doesn't solely depend on the rug's dimensions. The rug's weight, texture, the amount of water it will absorb when wet, the drum volume, and your machine's kilogram capacity are also determining factors.
